Another Shopping Frenzy
Yuck!! i just found out that I had no fun entries lately, so I had to post this one, haha...Yesterday, Singapore was raining for almost the whole day, the worst that you could have for weekend!! Luckily, I had an appointment with Ririen and Mbak Nat in the afternoon. We're going for late lunch to celebrate mbak Nat's bday.
Mbak Nat is very motherly and she loves cooking so much, so me and Ririen decided to give her cooking book for her present. At 4 pm plus plus I got to Borders @ Wheelock Place, but there was no sign of Ririen at all. Errr... Mbak Nat is already on the way to Thai Express Paragon -our eatery- Shoot!!... After 10 minutes of waiting for Ririen, I already got myself a book for my Indro. I was afraid if I waited longer I might fill in my shopping bag easily with another book...dangerous....very very dangerous...
So I called Ririen asking her where she was at that time. She said that she was stuck in Mango sale, errrr sounds quite bad hehe.... But what made me burst into laughter was when I saw her walking into Borders with big bag of Mango shopping bag with big grin on her face saying she needed to shop to ease the stress haha.... reminded me of my own excuses sometimes!!
Lucky, the rain has slowed the traffic down and we managed to get to Thai express slightly earlier than Mbak Nat. The food was great and the bday girl liked the present. So what's the best scenario to end the day? well, girls must know the answer.... A GOOD SHOPPING!!!
All of us went to Mango Takashimaya afterwards, to find the place packed with hungry faces...hunger of discounted Mango stuff. Pants from $19, Tops from $15, Bags from $19 whoaaa.... grab this... grab that... quick quick..... Then when u're about to pay u'd realize that u don't actually need all those stuffs and it's also a lot of money hehehe... Lucky I didn't find many interesting things, otherwise I could go shopping like crazy. But I could see Ririen keep on smiling after we got out of Mango...hahaha....
