SIDE A (from the story of THE EXPORTED ACCOUNTANT)

It’s been more than three crazy months I’m staying here in Singapore. At first, I thought going here was going to be an awesome experience and a “COOL” thing to do –since not everybody has the chance-. Then, when I got here I started to see from clearer point of view. Living in a foreign country is not what I thought it would be. Tougher and gets crazier each and every day hahaha…

What a life!”
I’ve been saying that sentence quite a lot lately. It’s because I’m amazed with what life has bring into my life, here, in Singapore. I knew that my decision to go from Indo meant one BIG THING: OPPORTUNITIES. But I never thought that one of the opportunities I experienced would be the OPPORTUNITY TO FALL -and I mean FREE FALL-. Yeaaah it’s the one when there’s no one to hold you up, take your hand and say everything will be all right kind of thing?! Then you’ll feel very bad that your life’s soundtrack will most definitely be Simple Plan’s Untitled (I made my mistakes, got nowhere to run, the night goes on as I’m fading away… I’m sick of this life; I just wanna scream…How could this happen to me…) Haha…quite miserable huh…

Well, I’m not trying to discourage people from chasing dream and explore opportunities abroad. This is just one side of the story. And this side tells you a story of an accountant who has to work 7 days a week; with works that don’t seem to stop coming. It’s the story of a person who lives all by herself and has to cope with cultural differences (don’t you dare say: it’s just Singapore!!). It’s also about missing your old friends and family.

But then again, I believe that everything always has two sides. If at one end you see struggle and pain, then at another end you’ll see your strides to better person, stronger by each step and more beautiful with scars of life. At least, I’m hanging on to that believe. You’ll see that I also have the other side of the story, where I share my crazy holidays with my friends and ex-boyfriend. Hm…that side will be sparkly and make you droll. But I guess I’ll just save it for next time. Just want to make sure you’ll come again and visit my blog hehehe…

So, have a swell day everyone!!

Ps: I’m not feeling bad today

I love this phrase:
If at one end you see struggle and pain, then at another end you’ll see your strides to better person, stronger by each step and more beautiful with scars of life.
SETUJU banggets... :)
