Welcoming 2011

After what I have been through in 2010, which I'm so proud of, I believe 2011 arrives with new breeze... There's a lot to anticipate this year: my brother getting married, stories from Gaizka's development, new chapters will be written about my youngest: Wiksa, and so much more...

This new year holiday, which was a mere 2 days (no different from any other weekends, thanks to year-end closing), was very well spent. Since we had guests: my bro and his fiance, the best way -I could think of- to entertain them was good food: Pancake Parlour, Sundanese food @ Kuntum nursery, & Shabu Tei. They seemed happy, though I can see that they are a bit concerned about wedding preparation and finding a house of their own. Tetap semangat ya... remember: marriage is the beginning of a chapter filled with more complicated problems haha...

Now, about the boys:
The eldest: Gaizka. He's such a treasure. He stopped wearing nappy on his own request and never wet his bed so far (it's been 3 weeks now). He attended playgroup and developed tremendously ever since. We taught him only Indonesian (we wanted a chatty boy and thought that monolingual environment was easiest for the purpose), but since school is bilingual he had learnt English and progressed very well. Another sweet surprise: that clingy boy of mine is also very mature in welcoming the arrival of his younger brother ("sebentar ya, aku mau menolong adek...." was what he always said if Wiksa cried).... Kiss kiss... love you kakak...
The youngest: Wiksa. He's lovable little man. He settled into quite a regular schedule on his 4th week and able to soothe himself by sucking the tip of his fist (yup, not thumb). He started cooing on his 3rd week So, now we have "ngobrol2 time" with the young baby, which -now that I think of it- might look a bit weird. Me/ my mum will throw a question which will be replied by Wiksa with his coo. Oh well I love you too little guy..

On the other side of life: I'm back at work. So many things to do with spirit so low. Yes, it feels hard to leave the boys at home. I'm dragging my feet every single day hehehe...(dasar pemalas!! :p) But am still enjoying the friendship and the payslip. I just don't like the "work" part (don't we all hahaha...)

Yasu, now that 2011 has come, I just pray God will intervene in everything I do and make my will strong enough to fly me through 2011...
